Atau Tanaka lives in
the U.S., France, and Japan. This transcultural perspective is reflected
as his artistic activities move from concert to installation to recorded
media, from acoustic to electronic to experimental. Physical interfaces
are his instruments, and the network is a natural space for this music.
Kasper T. Toeplitz produces a music made of long waves of sound clashing
against each other, rich in sonic overflow and long silences. A music
whose main concern is not note or pitch, but time, its oscillations and
vibrations, its misplacements - or how to perceive the subtelities of
a luminous blindness.
